This game blows, very unrealistic, like playing at the carnival, may I suggest you incorporate the word Carnival into the name WGT as this would create more hits on Google and players would know what they were in for, Just Sayin!

If this game blows why do you play it and post in this forum. Myself I think it is the best golf game I have ever played and it keeps getting better. USW1748

Hi Everyone..I've been a member here for a long time and I've seen so many great changes.  It wasn't long ago it was only closest to the pin.  Now we've got two golf courses we can play 18 on and another 9 coming soon.   We can now choose from a myriad of balls, clubs, clothing and there's more to come.   The game is the best I've seen, even better than the video games you buy.  Sure, a glitch comes up now and again, and yes, it can be very bothersome - but even on a real golf course those kinds of things happen.  WGT has been a place for me to relax, share some time with new and old friends and just have fun.  So Thank you WGT for this fantastic place.

I'm with you the game is losing its appeal to me I have dumped money into clubs, balls, box of naked lady tees one of those two of those set my buddy wang up with the whole shabang.....etc. and doesn't really make a difference.  This game should reward you (as in real golf) for striking the ball perfectly on the meter, accounting for the wind and hole position with a good  result but it does not.  Putting......well heck that's a totally different "beast" in its own are you kidding me?  Talk about precision I need to get my protractor and sliding ruler out on these just to "hope" the ball goes in (along with a prayer or two).  I know I know........"Well don't play the game then"........can't you come up with a better response then that for all of these poor souls looking to figure this out?  I'm a master but still find that this game should reward you for hitting the ball squarely and putting it well.....sigh.

LOL Zeke-I remember when you were really singing that same song and quite upset about it. Then came the post with your scorecard showing a 29! You're just having a bad stretch-get working on that 28.  :)

I am with you on everything you said, this game has glimmers of greatness but then quickly shows it's true colors and SUCKS again,  Very inconsistent and has more glitches than a space shuttle mission.  I refuse to buy balls because with the meter so unpredictable, it is a waste of money.   If that can be remedied, I will throw down some dough for equipment.

Wow, WW-You're really putting a strong case out there. 56 ranked rounds in 6 months? Wowser, do you ever leave the computer? That's a little over 9 rounds a month and more than 2 a week? You must be exhausted but not tired enough to revisit a thread 6 months old with an update to your furious dedication to learning the game.

I'm staying tuned, I'd like to know if I'm wasting my time. Keep researching and thank you for your dedication.
