    borntobesting:
And as a student at 24 surely he could get a part time job even if it's just flipping burgers at some place like Mc Donalds.

But between school, studying and flipping burgers he'd then have no time to play WGT!

im sure WGT makes a good dollar from there sponsors and also the sale of balls and clubs, it would not be a bad thing to gift your old clubs that you can no longer use ,especially when you move up tiers. Maybe put a limit on it 1 or 2 gifts of a used club per player. i have been gifted in the past nearly my entire golf set,but i would like to pass on my old clubs and say that my attitude to the game was the result of DOCGREENS  and THEECHANCE who raised me as a hack,. For me as a master and dont have a pocket full of cash, i would like to do this for a up and coming hack or amatuer,

Yeah I mentioned that also on giving used clubs as gifts. Noticed I could not do that around Christmas so decided to purchase a female avatar instead for a friend of mine.

Now I'm wondering if you purchase a female avatar and got tired of her after a while could you then give her as a USED gift to someone else?

Just kidding, they would have to change her attire first to fit the description LOL

WGT will never sanction the moving of credits from one player to another and quite rightly so. I think that is the main reason for not allowing club sales. I also wouldn't like the site cluttered up with want ads.

I agree with Piz, it's never going to happen.  It's fair enough to want to gift to family members but how does WGT know who is and who isn't family?  You could be gifting to anyone, including yourself.  I'm not for a second suggesting the OP wants to do anything like this but you have to see the possibility of someone making it pretty big in the game, creating a second account and gifting themselves all their old gear as the new account gets to the right levels.

Regarding surveys I've earned very few credits that way, after a few cases of getting to 99% and being told I don't qualify after all I got too annoyed with it all.  I once posted that I intended to spend the same here as a decent PC golf sim would cost, no more.   I think I've now spent enough for a decent set of real clubs.

In fact, I know I have, having treated myself to a used set of Callaway X-14 Pro Series for Christmas  : ))

For less than I've spent here in the last year  : ((
