When I started playing this a month or so ago I had no trouble, but more recently the game will suddenly freeze for 1-2 seconds. When this happens in the middle of my swing there's a good chance my ball is going in the drink, or only 10 feet. I've been paying for better balls and lost most of them to this lag. I've also been playing the ready-go tournaments which cost credits to join and when this happens it's pretty hard to get your score back up. I can't play this game anymore with this happening, I'm wasting my money to hit balls into the water and get screwed in ready-go's. Until this gets fixed, I'm done.

you can normally see if the meter is going to lag or jerk well before it gets to the perfect click point. If it happens just don't click. you will get what amounts to a practice swing. Just wait until the meter doesn't lag or jerk then click. Plus it's the holidays and there may be as many as 2 to 3 times the play and the servers are having to work 2 or 3 times as hard to keep up. True maybe they need to upgrade their servers but just wait a few days when the holidays are over and maybe things will return to somewhat normal.

Not necessarily true Borntobesting.  The button on my laptop requires me to engage before the cursor even approaches center of the "hit"  zone.  The meter will often appear fine and freeze just as it approaches the "hit" zone.  The same thing holds true for the sudden spike.

I went to number 17 on Kiawah -9 for 7 holes when I had 2 sudden spikes at the very last second, then a freeze on the next shot and deposited 3 GI SD into the lake.  It would be a wonderful thing if it always started that way so you could hold off, but my experience is very contrary to what you describe.

I just had the same thing happen to me, jakestanfill7.  Coming down the stretch going way under, only to make 8 due to terrible lag spikes.  Is there anyway to report this and hope for some free credits?  Losing 300 credits in balls on a single hole is annoying.

I also get 1 meter spike per round guaranteed! does my head in as it normally happens when waters involved(but not always b4 i get ppl saying i'm worrying to much about ending up in water). There is also no warning of this happening like borntobesting is suggesting,as the meter runs fine i click my mouse and boom it shoots past ding line.

Here is a nice fine example of topics or threads not getting closed. WOW! 2010 and it is almost 2014. This is why I don't post much here anymore.

Would you mind to tell us about your browser and Flash version (right click in the game window or the "Play now" button?

Which kind of lag spikes do you have? Stuttering? Late reaction on your clicks? How is it?
