    RUNWME:
The winning half of the field will be determined by wgt leaderboard.  For example say 50 people enter this week.  Using the leaderboard, the first 25 names on it who are signed up for NWT will receive a sleeve of balls of their choice. If there is an odd number  say 51 entrants. The player who finishes highest on the list 1st place will receive 2 sleeves of balls that week.  If there is an even number, winner receives just 1.

    Don,

I think what was asked is more like this:

Via WGT leader Board, only the First place winner is know via tiebreaker, so assume this player was not involved and say:

    10 @60

    10 @61

    10 @62

    10 @63

    10 @64

Will the 10 at 62 just be neutral?  In effect would payout be only from non-neutral positions?  I'd assume so, just checking.

Also, how would lopsided payouts be handled?

    I/e

    1 @60

    3 @ 61

    46 @62

I'd assumed the 60 and 61's would be gifted roughly 11 sleeves each?

I'm sure you'll try to make it as fair as possible, I'm just trying to understand a bit more.

All the spots on leaderboard are done by wgt tiebreaker format.

Say for example   bob shot a 60, but also tom , carl , and carmen all shot 60s

They would be wgt ranked. Bob won based on the wgt  tiebreaker method, http://www.wgt.com/help.aspx#ties but tom had better tiebreaker than carl , carl's was better than carmens.

    1 bob 60

    2 tom 60

    2 carl 60

    3 carmen 60

If all 4 signed up for Nike Golf Challenge,  Carl would send 1 sleeve of balls to bob,  and carmen would send 1 sleeve of balls to Tom  ( bottom half of field pays off top half)  by the order their name is ranked on the player leaderboard.

Everyweek you have a chance to lose 1 sleeve of balls if you dont make the top half of field,  or you have a chance to win 1 sleeve of balls

Make the top half of field and win a  sleeve of Nike balls is like winning a 100 credit readygo  in value.     The only 1 who may get 2 sleeves in a week would be 1st place finisher, and only if there was an Odd number of Tour Players that week.

When it cycles through 1 week it should be pretty clear how it runs.  I'm wide open for suggestions of another payout system.

I see your intent, but unless I am mistaken, WGT only does a tiebreaker for first place in the tourney, as I've always known it (and as I read the payouts) ties in 2 through-last are a split of the pot for those places.

So, say Bill won the 18hole single play tourney with a 59, but was not entered in this Nike tour tourney, the 4 scores shown above would all be in the same place...2nd and not weighted via tiebreaker.

    Hence my questions above.

Every score on the leaderboard is weighted via WGT's tiebreak method....if you and I both shoot 60, and my name is ahead of yours, my 60 was better than your 60 via the tiebreak method...whether 60 is in 1st or 5th, tiebreak has still been done
