    hi all

when a new ball is put into play, why is it when you run out of that ball you always get the free ball replacement when i have better balls that could be used instead, during a comp it could make or break it as it has done for me.come on wgt can you do something about this,i wont be the only person to moan about this.

In real life when you plink that Pro V1 into the water you reach into the deep recesses of your bag and find the other two sleeves of Pro V1's as back-up.

In real PGA golf tour life if a pro doesn't have extra balls of the brand he's (she's) playing then the caddy is fired.

very true, but in this gamei dont want wgt to be my caddy especially when i have better golf balls left in my bag.would tiger choose shitty balls over callys or nikes in his bag,i always have at least a dozen extra in my bag.

    cheers

Yes, but in real life, you can't click on a button and get more balls, wherever you are on the course, when your caddie warns you that you're on your last one

Most tournaments follow the one ball rule. Meaning you must play the same type ball for the entire round. WGT follows the same rule to some extent. If they followed the rule to the letter when and if you ran out of the type of ball you are playing you would be DQ'd. Letting you continue with the free ball is a small consolation. Would you rather finish the round with the free ball or be told you are out of balls and the round is over????

In real life there is another option. If you are playing in a group and another player has the same type ball you were playing you are allowed to borrow balls if the person will lend you some.

As I have stated before, I always have 2 spares in my bag, I just disguise them.

Keep a few hundred in your bag. You don't have to carry it.

let's say you run out with 2 holes to go and the tourney you are playing in is a rg and you only need 2 pars to finish well enough to win some decent credits would you still prefer to be dqed?
