Cheap and cheerful from my local 99pence store. And it's got flashy red and blue lights in it.

I have always just played with the touch pad on my laptop. Is a mouse that much better to play with? And should I get a wireless or wired mouse? Thanks for the information in advance.

Stay wired for sure, imo......No replacing batteries and no interferance.

I also used to play with my laptops touch pad, and will swear to the fact that a wired mouse is 100% easier. It may just be personal preference but now I can't believe I did anything on my computer with the ridiculous touch pad on my Toshiba. Get a $10 Logitech mouse and you will see an improvement in your scores.

    PS - I've never tried a wireless mouse so I don't know . . .

Try the wireless Lonnie. Think you will like it.

I have a laptop that I use when I'm in the den, use the touchpad and a desktop in my office at home that I use other times.  I find the mouse, wired is much better for me.  I have shot some good scores on the laptop, including qualifying for the Open with a 54 but generally the desktop is much better.
