has anyone heard more about adding st. andrews to our regular play.  i just turned master and refuse to play beth page, as master all tees are moved back 20 to 50 yards, i have added master driver but i am tired of hitting 3 wood into uphill par 4's.  i want something besides kiawah to play.  WHEN ARE WE GETTING A NEW COURSE, you can do away with beth page as far as i am concerned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seeing thats what many pro's were doing at the open, you hit what you have to hit.  Remember though that hole is only a par 4 for the open, its normally a par 5.

HAJI, that's is one out of 18. did you watch the us open that was played there? the pro's struggled mightily, on #7. btw you absolutly have to hit a good drive on that hole(guessing that's the prob.) i normally hit 3 or 4 iron into it with back left pin. no doubt moving up to master is hard, what did you want it to be? keep grinding you will be rewarded. thx JB

Maybe with wind but there's no way you're firing a 4i at the pin on #7 on  your second shot. I hit the 8.5 driver 280+ and because I don't carry a fwy wood or hb I have to use my 3i-the one that goes 225 and I aint even close to the green. Are we talking about the same hole?

    BTW-Tour-SD balls too.

Either you have the biggest deviation to date or you're hitting from the pro tees. It aint happening from the blues.

Jim, you have a 3i that goes 225? Which set is that, I don't see it in the pro shop.

splitting hairs now, yes i hit 3wd into that green if wind calls for it, and yes you can get on there with g 10 3 or 4 iron if wind is right. not looking for arguement here. i'll have replay up soon.
