Well of course it's just my opinion!!! I also have the Nike Putter (the 2,000 Credit one...without renting it first and without knowing that there was a lower one available when they first hit the Pro Shop).you see when it came out I was at level 71 so it was available to me. And by looking at the precision/forgiveness of it combined with the slow meter speed...I thought it would be a 'cinch' to use!!! Boy!! how wrong was I !!! firstly with the 15 feet distance scale (like my level 44 'Ping Redwood' which personally I believe to be the best putter along with the Rossa for your money) means that if you have putts of 45 feet or less...you only have to worry about 15 feet increments in between!! but let's look at a 45 foot putt with the Nike putter...what can you gauge it by! now lets look at a 2" downhill putt on 'Very Fast' putting speed of about 35 feet...with my Redwood I can pull all the way back on my 30 foot increment and nail that putt about 7 out of ten times...try that with the Nike Putter !!! what are you gonna judge it by!!! 20 feet is too short...and the next increment up is 50 feet...which makes it almost impossible to have the same accuracy...because there is nothing to judge 35 feet by!! in other words between 0 feet and 45 feet of putting distance with the Redwood...I have three EQUAL distances of 15 feet apiece...but for that same distance with the Nike...you only have the 2 Equal 10 feet distances (0 to 10 & 10 to 20) but come on now you are asking a lot to putt accurately with 30 feet of GUESSING distance between the 20 to 50 feet distance scale!!! now I will tell you this...and this is a fact!!! I played over 70 rounds of golf in about 2 weeks time with that nike putter!!! and all on the Back 9 at Kiawah (where I regularly shoot -4) I am not talking about going in bunkers...weeds or water!!! the best I could do was +2 and often times finishing between +4 and +6!!! And this was mainly due to three putting greens with a starting distance of 20 feet or less!!! fortunately at the time I was more interested in leveling up than my scoring..but It became very embarrishing for a MASTER TIER player at a 65 average to constantly play at +4 to +6 on Kiawah (which I believe to be the Easiest course) with no or little fairway troubles and especially reaching greens in regulations!!! so enough was enough!!! I'm back using my Level 44 Ping Redwood once again (had to readjust to the 15 foot increments) but I am not only back to shooting -4 on Kiawah but often shoot -2 on Bethpage front nine!!! I still have that Nike Putter!!! but I will be selling it back the minute I get to level 88 to help me buy the R-11 Driver!!! meanwhile I tried some of the other putters as well as the Ghost series putters but couldn't dial them in either...but If it's any consolation I also tried the upper level 'Ping Redwood' and couldn't dial that one in either !!! lol!!!

but let's look at a 45 foot putt with the Nike putter...what can you gauge it by! now lets look at a 2" downhill putt on 'Very Fast' putting speed of about 35 feet...with my Redwood I can pull all the way back on my 30 foot increment and nail that putt about 7 out of ten times.

Sounds to me like your experienced with your Redwood at what distance your 30 foot putter goes. Yes, 35 feet is hard with the Nike because you dont have a meter near that distance. The Nike is made for short putts, hence the 10,20 ft increment. If your under 20 feet consistently, the Nike is for you. If your 10 yds or more from the pin most of the time, stick with your redwood.

I average 16 feet to the pin with my approach shots, and I have become very fond of the Nike. Everyone likes their own method. Stick to yours and master it.

Hit Sgtbilko up and get a putter scale. I used the rossa for a long time and thought i would never replace. But the nike is superior in every way. My putting has gone from 166 to 144 in less than a month with the nike. Im making more putts from longer and shorter distances. Just a thought. Oh sgt does not charge for the putter scale but likes to get some nike lvl 71 balls.

I rented it, then I bought it and now I can say that it's a great putter. It maybe because only few putts of mine are over 25ft?! I don't know. I use the 10ft up to 4 ft, the 20 ft up to 9 and the 50ft up to 24. I've used also the 100ft and I didn't notice any changing. it's so easy to get the ding that u have just to aim right. For me, n1. Before I had Ghost Spider L35. Great, but not so precise.

    bye

and your point is well taken!!! so I'll use another example you have a 16 foot putt...do you use 10 or do you use 20...with a 15 foot increment it's no debate on wheather or not you use the 30 foot or 15 foot...you know you're gonna use the 15 foot increment wheather that putt is uphill or downhill!!! but 10 is gonna leave you well short if it's uphill and 20 is much to long for both a downhill or uphill putt...that is to judge accurately let's say at least 60% of the time..also I found out (and this is for me) that between 4&1/2 feet and let's say about to 7/8 feet were also very difficult to judge as well...4&1/2 feet I (really) hit it on the ding well and it's short .001...two holes later I get the same putt level ground no break identical putt (somewhat) so I ease back a little and it flies to the hole hits the back of the cup and out it goes a foot away!!! but understand that I still have the putter...because I paid 2,000 credits for it...and so there is a part of me...that naturally wants to make this putter work for me...because of all it's attributes...precision/forgiveness/balance and slower swing meter speed for more (laugh) accuracy!!! so I still try to use it from time to time!!! but for me I can still putt better with the starter putter...then I can with this Nike Putter!!! but as I mentioned earlier the Ping Redwood that I use is from level 44...but I also bought the upper level Ping Redwood (which has everything equaled to the level 44 putter as far as swing speed is concern and distance increments) and I used it for about 25 rounds of nine hole golf...but for some strange reason I couldn't dial that one in either...so I finally gave up on it at level 71...and sold it back to help me buy the Nike Putter...just maybe I bought the wrong Nike Putter...maybe I need the one from the lower level !!! I HEREBY CERTIFY UNDER THE PENALTY OF PERJURY THAT ALL OF THE ABOVED AND PRECEEDING POSTS REGARDING MY PUTTING EXPIERIENCE(S) RELATED TO ABOVE MENTIONED PUTTERS TO BE COMPLETELY ACCURATE AND TRUE!!!

Same for me. I love the Nike putter and my average is 17 feet to the pin. Beside i made a few putts +50 go in with the nike.

Like an idiot I jumped on the "ohhh its a Nike putter" bandwagon. Paid the 2,000 credits and used the Nike putter for a little over two weeks solid and found it to be quite inconsistent. Especially on the 10/20 increments. Bright side of it all, I did get a whopping 500 credits back when I sold it back last night  and rediscovered my undying love for my Daytona putter. I now will maybe try the Ghost Spider putter in a level and a half....maybe.   :)

This was of course just my experience with it and it wasn't a very good one. For those who it has worked for....kudos and I hope it continues to bring your scores down  :)

I too was tempted by the flashy putter that was waving to me in the pro shop.  Like you I also found the scales very inconsistent.  For me the 10 foot one was terrible, it was as if the putter had a strip of rubber on the face.  The ball just didn't come off the face with anything like the force it does with the L66 Ghost Spider.  I know that's a 15 foot scale of course but even so, the way that putter sinks 5 footers compared to the Nike is unreal.  When I switched to the 20 scale it suddenly had all the power in the world and I was overhitting.

I know I could have stuck with it and got it dialed in but really didn't see much potential benefit.  I was just not playing well with it and since I don't get online as much as I'd like I can't afford a couple of weeks of poor scores while I learn a new putter.

My fault though, I know a new putter never works straight away.  If the 10 foot scale had been better I might have stuck with it but that was a deal breaker for me.

    Lesson learned.

    Maybe.

LOL. Whats wrong with you? You use a very bad webcam and not a program like camstudio that would record your screen automatic. You also hijack the topic and post a video that has nothing to do with Nike putters. You aswell think you have copyright on a piece of paper that you has taped on your screen.

Im sorry to tell you dude but something is really wrong with you lol...
