  GS Open Rd 1 Wk 3 - Ice

  Shared this round with 2 of my friends, Coolswing (Vic) and Les.  A real up and down for us all with a lot of missed birdie opportunities.  However, it was a most enjoyable round with 2 great competitors and sportsmen.  Thanks guys.

  GS OPEN MONTH 1 ROUND 3 - GEORDIELES

  

  Played with Vic and Dave two of my longest friends on wgt so no matter what i scored was always going to enjoy the game,we all got off to a steady start vic and i managing eagles on 4th,it seemed to get tougher after that on the greens all of us missing makeable birdie putts,then on 9th vic and i got a testerone rush and went for pin on 2nd shots,not recommended as vic was 50 feet away and i was 68 feet away at back end of green,i was fortunate to 2 putt vic was nt so lucky,but still a respectible front 9.

  

  Again the back 9 started well for us all then we all started missing very makeable putts,5 feet on 12,6 feet on 13 and both myself and vic 3 putting 14 after driving the carpet.Still had a blast with you guys thank you for game.

  Scorecard for my GS Open round 3 -

  

  

  A very enjoyable and fun round with 2 good mates in Dave & Les even though I didn't play very well and left many shots out there !  The putter was just not working today and Les suffered the same fate as me although he play great and deserved a much better score.  Dave also did well after a slow start and he made a good run on the back 9 and was unlucky at the end.

  Thanks to Dave & Les for inviting me along, it was great to catch up with them both as we've been friends for ages. Thanks also to Crman for putting on this super tourney, looking forward to round 4 where hopefully my luck will change for the better ! :-)
