  Hi Woodsy

  All players that registered for the comp can play in MAY  (even the qualifiers)  So yes , you will be taking part in May to try and qualify for the June Playoffs.

  The already qualified players will not figure in the top 8 for May (as they have already qualified) but can take part and win the WGT credits on offer for May.   Their hcps  will be "frozen" during the May rounds (to prevent falsifying scores to increase hcps)  All other players taking part will be hcp adjusted as previously done, and will continue this month with their finishing hcps from April.

  Unfortunately it would be unfair for me to open up the May rounds to newcomers, as they would have a distinct advantage in hcp (starting from new, than those that have already played and have been cut in hcp as a result of April rounds)  So ONLY players that registered at the start (and have played in April)  would be elligible

  Hope that explains it

  May R1 Week 1 - Ice

  A very interesting and challenging round with 2 of my friends, Les and Nathan.  A number of putts were missed on the slow greens and Nathan and I each had a bogie which didn't help us.  I threw in a double bogie to add to the challenge.  In the end we all scored OK with this first round of the May GS Open.
