Anything worthwhile is hard, if you have meter issues try reading and acting on the useful tips and advise to be found in the forums. Oh and practice!

This game is rigged.  Stupid.  Im no newbie to video games.  It appears that you have to spend hours every day to get points or else BUY your way to a better game.

RIDICULOUS!  I cant make a putt from SIX damn feet half the time.  Or an approach shot, or a decent drive.  Line up perfectly in a fairway lie, hit the meter perfect and the ball goes 20 yard left of my target.  STUPID!!!  Land the ball hole high and it rolls off the green...but NO, land it short and the damn thing stops.  This game is crooked.

You been her two hole weeks, have made it to pro level, congrats, kinda suggests game is not all what you say. Plus, I think you will find that many players do miss 6 ft putts, lol, me included and even 1 foot putts, not because of the game, but because they read the line wrong, or hit it to hard, or not hard enough. You might benefit from reading some of the game tips available in the forums, especially regarding putting and short game. Or you could just quit, balls in your court.

I've been HERE seven weeks.  Shouldn't a player be that far along after seven weeks?

I've been to the forums, watched the videos.  Are you on the payroll Kindle?

And thanks for your permission to quit.  Gee, never crossed my mind.  :-)

This is a business, bottom line.  When you stripe the ball, it should go where you have aimed.  And yes, after taking in all factors such as wind, slope, elevation, etc.

So, that being said, one needs to upgrade equipment to improve their game, right?

And how does one upgrade equipment?  Hmmm...yes, I business I think.

It is a fun game but there are problems with chipping and pitching that are inconsistent.  Approach shots can be an issue too.  I hit a 7 iron on the screws (rated to travel 137yds) with a 13 mph wind behind me and the pin 3 ft. below my position in the fairway and the ball traveled 133 yds.  I was playing to the front of the green which was 137 yds.  If I had missed on the meter okay but not when you ring the bell.  I find the putting pretty reliable but it is difficult to judge speed, just like real golf.

Tuesday is bin day which is a real chore because they wont come down my lane, even though I sometimes pay my council tax on time. So I have to lug whichever bin it is, and there are two, one which is current and the other not, I have to lug them a mile and a half to the dog walkers car park before they will collect them. I have to take both because I have no idea which one is due but thats my fault. And then the dog walkers think it's ok to put their dogs' poo in my bin. Gee Thanks.

Wonder how they would feel if I were to lay a rat on their bonnets?

So if you are one of those dog walkers, just stop it Ok?

    Lizzie xx

    (grievance snipped)

    You name it, pt!

FWIW, this game does not only look like real golf, it plays similar - at least I do, copying some weaknesses from there :(

Knowing that it's mere calculus, the "precision" of different clubs might make the difference. With minor clubs (i.e. Starters for me) there is always the odd unexplicable miss, especially in chips and pitches, but also the "hit the iron perfect and it stays short!" which you mentioned.

I assume that the question "will the crosswind affect the ball or not?" is not related to equipment(?)

It's some kind of "virtual reality", do you agree?
