    WGTicon:

    SweetiePie:

If WGT would just quit fiddling with the greens, it would be enough for me.

nothing has been done to the greens in forever... i don't even remember the last time greens got adjusted... i think it was for STA like 18 month ago.

Which of the 3 statements are we supposed to believe:

    1) Nothing has been done to the greens in forever.

    2) I don't even remember the last time greens got adjusted.

    3) I think it was for STA like 18 month ago.

    Just asking.

    Disclaimer of Warranty

The conditions in the game (wind, ground conditions, green speeds) may vary during play. WGT assumes no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any outcome of a game or tournament due to these conditions.

The only bit that doesn't vary is the ground condition, no matter how I hit the ball it still keeps landing on it?? Can't get my head round that one lol

Please explain to me why I have seen normally excellent putters 3 putt from 6 feet recently.(me included ---although I am not a great putter). I have seen it likely 6 times in the last ten days where everyone missed a seemingly simple putt. (Mostly on Kia). There has been a change to something and I am sure a lot will agree. I have hit 20,000+ putts and think I can spot a change when it happens !

I was beginning to think that I was going crazy. My putting has gone horrible the past couple days and I have changed nothing. What putt use to break doesn't and vice versa. I think something has been changed or else my putter has hates my damn guts.

Yep, got to agree "LOVE game, HATE bugs!" ...  Why can you take the same shot from same rough to find out you didnt need it that time lol? ..... I think the biggest thrill to most of us when we're starting, is that  you think you are (almost) actually playing on, lets say St Andrews, or even, the GREAT "BELFRY!" (sorry about plug lol) ,,, But after a time u realise that everything is out  ... In a nutshell i would like to play St Andrews the way it REALLY is!!! , wind, SEVERITY of slopes on greens, etc ... The graphics are generally great, but i think you let yourself down on really simple things like: ......1,(THE ABOVE). 2, contradictions in rear and frontal view, when putting ... and 3, specifications on clubs, balls and hole descriptions (the hole descriptions have just been thrown together with the specifications, and not even uniform in description or appearance) ...

OK i've learnt my lessons with equipment, and i know how to react on most holes ... "but please! just keep it REAL!"  ... instead of inventing an unreal St Andrews, with extra severity of slopes (green) etc ... why not, say? have a wet and dry period? ... or even better! a (4) seasonal change with winds, dampness, etc ..... (a weather clock even!)

... With having experience in graphics, and with (some of) your scanning equipment, Im sure this is really easy to solve? yeah? ... "KEEP IT REAL, PLEASE"

Oh, OK. I've only hit about 30,000 putts and wouldn't know or be able to know a change or difference. Sorry.

well tbh your 1.63 putting average doesnt exactly qualify you to be a putting expert
