Ya im guessing that the G20 hybird will be level 81+, 3 wood level 83 or 84+, driver level 86 or 87+ and irons level 88 or 89+ All with a slower swing meter.

Hi, I've just got the G20's and I must say, they sure work fine to me.

And yes, they do compete against the high level of R11's.

For me it was a good buy, I'd recommend them to everybody who like perfection in skill, these are amazing.

    Greetings LD

How would you know they compete against the high level (90+) R11s? Do you have any experience playing the R11's the make that statement?

I call BS, sorry. Unless the G20 3 iron can hit a shot 243 yrds with a 18 mph tail wind and get about 5 or 6 yrds run out, I'll believe you.

I have both sets. The burners are the bomb when you ding them, however not so much on mishits- and the meter is the fastest on here. The G20's played with top ball play rated distance with full backspin (which stops em dead) and are much easier to hit. I play burners with 4 wedges; G20 PW allows me to carry 3 wood instead of 52 degree Cleveland - i would rent both and then decide.

I'd like to see the lvl 81's To have around the stats of the burners, but the meter of the G10's. I think it would be a fiar club to offer for users. Otherwise, the 81's would take over R11's due to the slower meter, and already decent enough stats...

I must have missed something too. I see no way that the G20's could compete with the higher level R11's. Just the 15 yards less rated distance on the 3 iron should show  that not to be true. And as you can see from this comparison the precision is a full dot less, the forgiveness is 1/2 dot less and the spin is a full dot less. The trajectory is listed the same but as we have seen in the past some clubs seem to have higher trajectory than others. The only thing that the G20's have over the R11's is the slower meter speed but with the right ball the meter speed of the R11's is quite manageable. All in all the G20's are a good replacement for the G10's but can not compare to either the Burner 2.0's much less the R11's.

I think what he probably meant to convey was the idea that the G20s let him hang with the R11 owners, not necessarily outperform them. Basically, that slower meter might just do that for some as they would be making better shots. There's no way they're going to be as good as the R11s but they might make a player more competitive if the meter speed is in their way now.

Also if a player with R11s is only scoring around 2or 3 under per 9 holes then these will slot into that players game nicely,Sure you wil lose some shots into elevated greens where you need to stop the ball quick but on normal playing surface approaches you could easily get used to the 5 or 6 yards more roll they offer,In fact this may suit some players that have a Back spin addiction:)I rented them and found them very useful,I will probably buy the 81 level ones,I hit some nice blitz scores with them too,I found Callys work better with these than Nikes,I was losing too much carry with Nike with bs,,Overall i think they are a very competent iron!
