G20 Level 81s?

  You may be right about the irons Tess but if you factor in the woods then you lose even more. The G20 driver is rated 12 yards shorter than the R11 and having only med/high trajectory you won't get as much carry so it might even be more than a 12 yard loss and that would force the players to play more long iron shots into the greens.

  That may not come into play, as the R11 woods are spot on (we were) with the G10's via meter.

  There would be no reason to downgrade R11 woods, IMO.

   

  I see your point though if a player is leveling up, but Tess was speaking about those who are playing R11's (irons) now and having a tough time with them.

  I have no idea on the woods,The R11 woods are awesome and the 3 wood is amazing so i need something special to come along to catch me eye there,Im sure the G20s will be great for many players who just like to relax play well and have fun with friends,I found them so so easy to play esp with Cally Legend ball,And after all they offer same spin of G10 and we know how G10 dominated for ages,Cant see anything rivaling the R11s otherwise this place will get like TWO lol,Im sure wgt have more or less capped the top end irons,( Well i hope so)

  P,S i think they are better than G10s because the G10 145 club and 160 was a pig!!! this set seem pretty consistant! Unless im mistaken i believe this is the first 3 dot spin high trajectory club to offer a slow meter.I wouldnt need my glasses to play these!! WOOHOO

  I rented them and frankly I was not all that impressed with them. For me the meter speed was just too slow. I clicked early about 80% of the time. I guess i could go back to the tour -sd ball and do ok with them but I really like the R11's with the Cally legend z ball.I can see how people who have trouble with a faster meter speed would like them. But for me they're just too slow.

  Is the G-20 level 81 clubs the only new ones that are to be released?? Any chance that a driver better than the R 11 might come into the picture anytime soon or even a Nike driver and irons that could compete with the R 11s?
