Spring Matchplay Tournament

  Hi, I tried last week, on Tuesday I think, playing with DougieWaugh, told me on Thursday or Friday night would be available, wait for those days and did not appear, on Saturday I saw him not here, yesterday I was not, not if he hasappeared, I hope that night is available today, if I draw back or make you a lot, whatever, thanks and greetings.

  As a reply to this accusation, I would like to let it be known that I was on Thursday and Friday nights (as I suggested I would be) and did not see my opponent waiting to play at the time I was on.  Was not on Saturday, but then again I never said I would be!  Have been on every day since then but have not seen him available.

  Have a Dad in hospital at the moment having a had a severe stroke, so I admit that my time on is more sporadic, but I really can't be bothered with these kind of false accusations and given this and the post he has now put on my wall I would like to apologise to the organisers (particularly Daz, who I know well from our CC) and given my current personal circumstances I should advise that as far as I am concerned, my opponent is close to going on my LTS (Life's Too Short) list and I would wish to withdraw from the tournament.

  It is saddening to see this false accusation. It shows that winning is more important than having fun to some people in this tournament.

  Sarge,

  There is no need for that as it could just be a case that we were on at different times during Thursday and Friday and I am comfortable with my decision to withdraw.  I just thought that another quick personal message as part of the 'conversation' we had already started to check the situation and indeed the facts would have been better before taking it to the open Forum and a posting on my wall.

  No biggie and best of luck to him in the next round.

  Dougie has PM'd me with his situation at the moment and has withdrawn from the tournament. Iremanu is through to the next round. As far as i'm concerned that is the end of the matter.

  KAM4122 and I have not yet been able to play. My father in law died and then wehn I finally became available, Monty got the flu. We will get the match in as soon as he is better.

  I lost my 2nd round match to BigKnight 4&3. My putter was cold throughout the match and the 1's i did manage to get, Geoff answered well with some great putts. Think my trusty Rossa putter will be back in the bag.

  Just finished Round 2...took on Dazza at Oakmont..sadly my new friend didnt have his putter working (although we are BOTH proud of halving 9 with birdies!!!!!)

  hate to bring down the man in charge, but i won 4&3

  THanks for putting this on Dazza, i hope we can play again soon!

  DougieWaugh Hi, regarding his father, I'm sorry you are sick, and in terms that you are a liar, I did not want to offend, it was not my intention, but I was waiting for the time you and I were , and you did not appear in green or red in no time, I win the tournament and I do not, you do not put that apology, I have played many tournaments and no one could say that I have lied at any time if you want to go the round I have no problem, let me again repeat, my intention was not to offend, butyou try not to leave me a liar because I will not allow greetings and thanks.
