  Mio raises a serious point though Icon. Scoring is getting crazy low on WGT and that scoring does have a damaging affect on all those players out there that do not feel capable of getting even close to the current numbers.

  I'd be interested to see just how many rounds were played in the recent Cabo Leap Year tournament after Buckthebuck scored a 52? A tremendous round from Buck but I'll wager there were many players on seeing his total decided that they weren't even going to try.

  WGT has in excess of 2,000 legends and probably 80% of them don't think they even have a chance of winning tournaments and therefore don't compete in many of the tournaments put on. That's not healthy in the long run and weekly/monthly tournaments that offer the potential for the very best players to lower their best 18 score can only add further to the problem. I think they should be limited rather than available every month. That may not sit comfortably with the opinions of the very best players but I and I dare say a few others view it as important for the long term good of the game.

  Oh I get the point, that's why these tournaments (form short tees) usually are 1k or 2k only.

  As you know, they are mostly populated by the usual suspects, so short tees are just there to make things interesting and not really meant to set some sort of standard.

  After all, our goal is keep things different and fun, for if you remember, when we tried some premiums @ oak or rsg, they took a while to close.

  Trugolf courses can't be setup in practice mode otherwise  would've played it in various conditions and tees  stat or no stat.  

  This does come up with a fun idea,  Icon, can you submit the suggestion to open up Trugolf to practice mode?  Still charging the fee is cooll and  giving option of  ranked mode or practice ( with user definable settings) would further enhance the options.

   

  Hopefully the readygo will be released and the ladies get the enjoyment of Stevens run in the sun. ( I'm choosing to ignore that he tried to wimp out on this )

  Which masses are you speaking on behalf of here B0gey? The masses who played the Cabo 1000 or the ones that didn't like yourself?

   

  I speak for the many that enjoyed as see in threads and were actually having fun.   My score history does not go back far enough to when this was available Dec 2012, so to suggest I didnt play it would be ignorant.

  As for the score getting out of control, then drop your clubs go back to g10s with gi-sds balls and play the pure game you want to play.

  The suggestion was to move it up for a tournament once and a while and you get your panties in a knot.  Especially Mio, who we all know has been banned before and for some reason isnt always thinking clearly.

  And I'm pretty certain I shall be banned again before the week is out, but I know I think much more clearly than the multitude of multi-accounters that hide behind the Devs tag whose egos are bigger than their credit balances.

  Indeed it would be B0rey but then I didn't check your score history, I looked through your daily activity in December in 2011. To think I wasn't thorough would be ignorant. To suggest it was in December 2012 suggests you're not thinking clearly.

  I am not getting my panties in a knot, I just disagree with you speaking out for the "masses" when clearly this will be a tournament for the elite. Icon has already said as much. As for Mio being banned before, that has no relevance whatsoever to him offering a different opinion to yours. His is every bit as valid as yours.

  Clearly a typo.  But my score history only goes back to the start of January.   And if you actually took the time to look at my player history, you would not see anything as I shot so poorly there would not be an award for that.   So again ignorant.

  I do apologize for speaking for the masses, but I do recall many people loved the cabo RG from the short tees, also confirmed with the amount of turn over that particular tournament had!

  But the orginal suggestion had nothing to do with the elite.  It was even suggested as a 100cr RG, if even tier based, as a Legend it would be fun for a lot of people!  The same reason Cabo is fun, yes you can shoot low, but the greens will bite ou in the *** of you arent careful!
