  Hi,

  Can anyone tell me how much faster touney greens are compared to very fast greens?

  This is right from WGT .............

   

  Last, but not least, the green speeds on WGT have been adjusted for the Legend and Tour Master Tiers.  The greenskeeper has been asked to tame his inner demons and save the championship green speeds for special events. Here are the general guidelines we have given the greenskeeper for regular play (actual green performance may vary):

  Tier          Green Speed Stimpmetered

  Hack               7.9

  Amateur         7.9

  Pro                  9.0

  Tour Pro         10.0

  Master            10.0

  Tour Master    11.0

  Legend            12.0

  Championship greens are faster than the Legend Tournament and the silly part is TM and Legend speeds are both called Tournament.

  In muliplayer games the Green speed will default to the highest level. So if your playing a Legend you will be putting on Legend Tourny speed greens.

  I think the default green speed should default to the lowest level.

  There are 2 Legend tourny speed greens, normal and slower. You don't know which it is until you start putting.

  There is a difference between 'Tm' Tourny speed and 'Legend' Tourny speed greens. I've noticed that some Tm's have a few problems putting on Legend speed greens.

  One thing to remember when putting on faster speed greens is... be careful when you have a big downhill putt.
