I hear what you are saying, however
1 - I stated on my blog that I was going for some of the more esoteric awards. To get Water Boy, the Yips etc means big scores. Trying to leave myself long puts to get long distance putter awards means big scores. If KJHAWK had bothered to look at my profile he would have realised this.
2 - Given that I hit Master level early and will be at TM soon (probably at lvl 64/65) suggests that if my intention was not to progress to a higher tier then it failed.
3 - Why would I sand-bag? I've not played a single match-play and haven't fleeced anyone. Unlike a lot of people here I play mainly ranked stroke play matches whereas some people are still at Pro level with Lvl 64+ gear and winning records against Legends.
4 - I've also wasted plenty of credits on bad RGT scores and attempts to play unrestricted RG's in vain. Yes I've had a few good RG scores but so have tonnes of other players.
5 - Fact is that in most of the tiers I've been in I've had to compete against players who are much higher levels than I and therefore with much better gear, so I've never been at a competitive advantage against anyone, quite the opposite.
KJHAWK2 may have jumped to the wrong conclusion, but he just went in with both feet calling me a sandbagger without so much as a hello first. Not very polite in my book., hence my comment.
Given that we'll both be at TM soon and seeing each other around I hope that's cleared that up.
