I have one that lists rating, actual distance (no wind, no elevation, with Nike or Callaway ball), plus backspin, topspin, and punch. Note I do NOT have BS ratings for CG 60/64- that is because you need to think long and hard before going there! This is my full set -

I've tested the G20s I have quite a bit and the #s I am getting with full backspin are different with nearly every club - I use the cally s ball

just curious, cause I am still trying to learn them, but the #s I'm using haven't been putting me too far away from the hole most times

At the end of the day we all have 2 calibrate against our own setup - only explanation I can offer - hit em  good!

I've been renting the snot out of the Clevelands this weekend and had completely neglected to test topspin on them as I have rarely used topspin on any wedges.

As for spin on the irons themselves, that's a matter of feel more than anything I think, due to the number of variables that factor into it (wind speed/direction, length of time ball will be in the air, amount of spin and the biggest of all - hitting the ding).

VFire - I'd be glad to hit the course with you while you get used to the clubs and share what I'm doing on each shot to help you get acclimated.

Nice chart but noticed you left off a couple of figures for full bs on the cleveland 80 and 60 yrd wedges so I went out to test.

80yrd cleveland with full bs    lands 71yrds  and zips back 52 yds for 19 yrds total distance ( 61yrds left than rated)

60 yrd cleveland   If you apply full backspin, have your avatar lift their feet as ball will land 50 yrds away , then zip right back past them for -2yrds total distance

    haha

I vaguely remember posting in another thread that the 60 yd Cleveland will backspin into the 20th century.

On an elevated green, it can spin back and hit you in the head!

I bet it would go further back than that, but I'm afraid to go back any farther than Woodstock.

In fact, I was playing St. Andy one day, and hit the L80 64 full on with full BS into a strong headwind, and the ball spun back off the green, down the fairway, around the globe, and back on the green.....hit the flagstick and flew off the earth!

And that was a starter ball.

    True story.

Fortunately, I stepped aside, avoided fatal injury, and only went back about 23 minutes.

The L59 G20's do not go stated distance with full backspin... using the L45Calli (z)... I hit about 70 shots with 3i-9i in low wind practice on one of the long flat fairways on BPB... 12 i think.
