Site Maintenance

  Just to let you know how frustrating it is when you have limited time left to improve your score in a weekly competition, only to find the site is down for maintenance.

  I may be wrong but I get the impression that the downtime is in the middle of the night in the USA.

  Spare a thought for the players on the other side of the world.   Can WGT not stagger their maintenance to give equal chances to all time zones.

  What do all you guys out there think?

  I am sorry about this but we do maintenance in the same window 99% of the time.

  Not only does the server go down in a challenge but I lose my credits as well.... Disconnected 3 times which wasn't my fault!!!

  Doesn't leave a great taste when you are paying to play

  Hiya, thanks for the reply, doesn't solve the problem though.   Would you not even consider this to be a genuine need by all of us on the other side of the world.

  On another note, why is this blog credited to "Golferp57p" for starting it?   Even on my profile it still says I don't have any blog posts?

  DO we do maintenance when it's convenient for us. Yes, of course, because we have to have the right personnel to work specific times. We also have to make sure many other elements are right.

  I am sorry for the inconvenience but we cannot possibly please everyone :)

  Believe it or not I'm giving, IMO, a compliment instead of bitc...!  

  WGT does EVERYTHING for their convenience and to my knowledge and IMO, has never had the guts or backbone to admit it. 

  I hope now that your masters will, since you have broken the ice and they can see being forthwith isn't all that painful,  allow this breakthrough to continue.

  Again, I salute your courage!!!!
