  Let me formally answer Mr Thunderboltz ....

  I choose not to run.

  Seriously I could never commit because of the time involved.  I never know when the job will call me away for an extended period of time.   Been lucky the last year but ... one never knows.

  Qualification for last years event was 1 round per month over a 4 month period - . NOT 4 rounds per month, over 4 months !!?? OK.    I know,  I was there :-)

  Maybe Seve will change things this year - will just have to wait and see what the rules are this time around. We just need to make sure we dont make it too onerous.

  Last year though -  1 round per month for 4 months.

  Let's wait and see it's Wed so the week's almost half over!! I'm waiting on playing the 18 hole on Sunday until I see some more information regarding qualifications!!

  You can play when you want, Thunder, this week´s tournament will not influence the qualifying.

  Any idea when this qualifying is actually due to begin ? The trail seems to have gone a touch cold .

  Below is a paragraph from Seve's post re the captains nominations.

  "In other words, when you play the May 18 Hole Open, go to the link and report your score. Do the same with the June, July and August 18 Hole Opens. August will be the last month of the qualifying process, and there will be two qualifying scores to be posted. One of them will be the August 18 Hole Open and the other one the Week X 18 Hole Single play Tournament"

  So - May, June, July & Aug 18 hole opens and I think wk33 18 hole single play
