    What's the qualifier?

    I'm sure I won't be good enough to displace or leapfrog anyone but perhaps I can mix the Gatorade for the stateside stud muffins.

    @Woodsy,

    Just sit tight, and Seve will let you know all the details in due course.

    I would think a start in Aprilish, for qualifying - that will take a few months - and then the real thing.

    Cheers Doug

    It would be a FUN idea to have a Ryder Cup for Pro's! That would be exciting to! Some of us can't seem to make Master

    I´m sorry, ZipZap, but this decision was made a few months ago. In the real Ryder, you get the very best players, and that´s how it should be here too. Of course, if anybody wants to organise a pro ryder, they are free to do so.

    The qualifying process will be very similar to last year: you play a series of single play tournaments and get points according to your scores in those tournaments. But don´t worry, you´ll get many more details and a much better explanation when I start the official Ryder Cup thread, which, as Doug said, will happen in April.
