FUN ???? Well - I am not sure I would use that word exactly. I played in last years and it was the highlight of my WGT career to date, it was just an incredible tournament, and so so close.

It was played in a great spirit by all the players, but let me tell you - it was pressure , pressure, pressure and of course everyone was playing to win !! It is after all the virtual equivalent of the real thing, and its every bit as nerve wracking too. But - boy, I loved every minute of it.

You will be required to qualify for this tournament, and I think from memory there are only 12 slots for each team - so - GET PRACTICING.

What about having avatars designs for the 2 teams. They usually have ridiculous shirts for the ryder cup.

Hello I can't wait until qualifying starts up again. After a very long time off from the site I thought to myself on how I did alot of players wrong on here. I am very sorry for causing alot of mishap. I am back and better than ever. Thanks to WGT and the staff for reinstating my account. Thanks

I have a thought for the qualifying procedures I would like to submit for consideration.

Last year if i remember correctly, the best 10 based golfers based on the weekly 18 single play tourneys qualified ... and the captain had 2 picks. This left many very good match play players without a shot at making the team.

I'd like to suggest each captain have a choice ... 1) have 10 automatic qualifiers and 2 captain picks as last year or 2) have the top 8 qualify .... the next 8 or 16 (captains choice) do a single elim match play tourney seeded by their qualifying ranks for 2 slots .... then the captain can do his 2 "at large" picks.

Just another variation but one which would give a lot more golfers a chance to make the squad through match play .... and in all honesty ... the ryder cup is basically a match play tourney ... wouldn't the captain want their best match play golfers on the team ???

Just a thought ... love the tourney.
