putter pal

  WGT have placed a putter pal into my equipment as a promotional thing.......How on earth can i remove this piece of garbage from my putting meter......it's totally cocking my puttin up.....Any advice anyone on how to remove........if not i shall go down the 1st at St Andrews using only the putter to use up the 90 or so putting strokes i have left using the putter pal......WGT should'nt do this without the players say so......Mr Angry

  Hello,

  Putter pal,can be turned off by going to game options and scrolling down to the buttom and selecting the option.

  I wonder who came up with putter pal in wgt, because I could never work with it. It should show yards not percentage. The way it is now it buggers anyone that uses it up.

  Yep total waste of credits, unless you dont know your BASIC maths then it will only hinder your putting and learning, dont buy is my reccomendation, now i am trying to get rid of it, last hole was shocking using it

  You've played exactly 2 ranked rounds. All the blitz games you show doesn't use it. Are you sure you know that much about the Putter Pal?

  GBee2- I'm wondering which of your stats makes you all that knowledgeable about putting on WGT:

  Longest Putt Made	5 Ft.
  Putting Avg. Per Hole	2.11
  Three Putts or More %	33.33%
  Total Putts	38

  I do know that after I started using the printed putter distance chart my three putts leveled off a little over 15%. When I combined it with the Putter Pal it dropped down to 10%. By no means am I a good putter but the Putter Pal has definitely made me a much better lag putter, enabling me to lag everything to where my second putts are almost always within sinking distance..

  me to I put a piece of scotch tape see threw over meter n rented putter pal for 10 cred n copy lines n numbers on tape same as shot pal along with a dis chart it has helped me big time

  I use WGT caddy which is basically a free non WGT Putter / Shot pal. What I have noticed though is that as with WGT caddy you have to set the 'size' of your overlay meter and you start with the right hand bar, i.e. the last line in the 'normal' meter bar before you get to the blue bar / ding line bit. Once you've got that lined up you fix the left hand side of the meter.

  Well I lined it up and eventually got it perfect, imagine my surprise when the yellow 'release' bar, i.e. the thing that appears when you release the mouse button to start the meter, is NOT fully to the left of the WGT meter, it's only a pixel or two difference but that may be significant. Have a look next time you use the meter.

  Edit, this isn't an issue with WGT Caddy, its the meter, if you hit a shot 100% the yellow bar drops down very slightly to the right of the extreme left hand side of the meter.

  The latest version is great.

  After using WGT's Putter Pal, I made a homemade, tapped to my computer screen, paper Putter Pal. It worked great too.

  I'd love to get the pro version but they only accept paypal and paypal get all confused when your try and verify an account with a Chinese address but a UK bank account.
