The main event of the 2014 Virtual U.S. Open tournament is the Qualifier, featuring 18 holes of unlimited stroke play on Pinehurst No. 2, host of this year's U.S. Open Championship. One lucky sweepstakes winner, regardless of their score, will win a Grand Prize trip to the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay. Additionally, the top 156 scores (plus ties) will advance to the Virtual U.S. Open Championship tournament, to compete for a second Grand Prize trip to the 2015 U.S. Open. Plus, as a special gift from the USGA, everyone who enters the Qualifier will also receive a free USGA avatar and a Lexus virtual golf ball.
