Pebble Beach.....63 for me this week.

Adjusted the shaft of my putter around a tree trunk after the first 9 and noticed a slight improvement.

    Good luck to everyone

    65 for me.

I got all the best pebbles a few weeks ago when we played here.  I didn’t even bother to bring my pebble picking passport this time.

It might have helped if I had brought a caddy who monkeyed around more . . . with a better understanding of bananas.

Thinking this week was going to be more like it, made the turn at -4, and bogey free.  Then I quess I lost all ability to gauge the wind and read the breaks and distance correctly(putter went frigid) gave it all back and then some, finished.

A really erratic performance for my first round recorded on the S.S. WGT Tour -- a one-under 71 featuring 5 birdies and 4 bogies.  Seemed like every time it looked like I was going to get something going, I'd miss a fairway or green and lose a stroke.  Luckily, I scrambled around the greens well enough to finish under par, but just barely!  Hoping to shoot lower in coming weeks on the Tour.

A personal best 58 for me at Pebble today, celebrating St. Patrick's Day.

Loaded up a Guinness Draught Stout (did you know those cans release nitrogen into the stout when you open them?) and some Celtic music on XM radio and managed a hole-in-one on #5.  The Celtic gods must have seen my green shirt and lucky 4-leaf clover hat and bestowed me some luck.  Aside from that, made some pretty good approaches and putts (including a rare birdie on #8).  Very happy with my round.

In celebration of only my 4th HIO in 4 years, I will pay the blessing forward by gifting a sleeve of balls to the next player who gets one in a SS Tour round.  Just post here that you got one and I'll send you a sleeve of your choice.

Eagle on 2 birdies on 3,5 and 6 and a nice pitch in par on 8 allowed me to make the turn at -5. Made birdies from above the hole on 11 and 12 and then a nice banana birdie on 16. 3 putt bogey on 17 was the only blemish on the round and finished with an easy 2 putt birdie on 18.
