Hi Huckle,
An additional way to progress quicker through the tiers by decreasing your ave faster is to play par 70 courses (Oakmont, Pinehurst, Merion,Olympic, Bethpage, St Georges) as an under par score on a par 70 course is worth more than the same under par score on a par 72 course therefore reducing your ave and allowing you to level up quicker. If you only play 9 holes each time, the best course 9 would be Merion front (par 34) but it is quite a difficult 9. Probably the easiest 9's would be St Georges, Bethpage & Pinehurst.
Good luck

Wionder if anyone can help. I'm relatively new and wondering about progressing to Pro level Tier. According to my profile, I've played 11 ranked rounds and my scoring average is 72.5. I assumed that was enough to go from Amateur to Pro but it hasn't changed.
Can anyone suggest why not ?
Cheers
