  72 for me this week on the BOP5's

  It was looking a little sad after the first 9 but luck intervened with 4 eagles on the back 9.

  WK 26 18-hole Single Play Best of Par 5's 

  Finished with -13 (77) 

  Was on the Tee at the 15th, Olympic, and nailed the tree on the left side, lost ball, took a double bogey, dropped me back to -10, scrambled the final 3 holes with birdies. 

  Always fun to have a Par 5 to boost up the overall score. Still stinging over that dang tree, watch out for trees!

  Pitiful 81 for me.

  I love the par 5’s and can usually count on being on in 2 plus a two-putt or on in 3 close enough for a 1-putt.  Front 9 had way too many two-putt pars.  Finally got in the one-putt birdie groove on the 10th.   Then my Olympic nemesis resulted in a 3-putt bogey (no trees), and the 17th resulted in water AFTER going over the green; it was the shot back from 60/70 brush that managed to roll into the drink.

  Speaking of drink. . . . bye for now.  :-)

  Got the heartbeat on my approach on the first hole. 3 putt for par. Managed to stay bogey free for the round but missed way to many makeable putts.

  1st game in this tournament par 5s 7 under par was fun a few easy putts missed nervous was big crowds watching but im happy with that  JJ

  Thanks Brett for the nice comments, the great trophy, and the gift.  You run a great Tour and I love being a part of it.  Thanks to others for your kind words and, especially, for your great play out there in these events.  Man... this Tour is full of really excellent players going really low week after week.  Now that my handicap is in the plus figures, it'll be interesting to see if I can hang with you!!!  Good luck in the Summer Solstice Open and at all future Tour events, everyone!

  Week 26 - BOP5: 88 (-2)

  Statistically par 5s are my best average (4.53), so was looking forward to this round. How wrong was I. Never got any better than -4, 2 dropped shots on the back 9 including a 3 putt from inside 10ft really did 🤬🤬🤬🤬 me off. Looks like my poor form has continued from the last tournament over
