Why doesn't my average change?
Depending on what game modes are played, a player's average and stats may not change.

How do I advance to the next tier?
Tier advancement is a combination of a player's scoring average and the number of ranked rounds played in their current tier.
I recently advanced in tier and now my average has gone up, why?
A player's average is based on the ranked rounds they have played within their current tier.
When a player advances to a new tier, their ranked rounds within the new tier starts over at zero and their average resets to reflect the scores in the new tier.
Players may see a large difference in their average after their first ranked score in the new tier, depending on that score.

When the bracket completely fills, the round timers begin.
Be sure to complete your round within before time runs out and keep an eye on when the next round starts!
How are Bracket tournament winners awarded?
In brackets that have credit prizes, the award structure is:
- 1st Place: receives 50% of the total prize purse
- 2nd Place: receives 30% of the total prize purse
- 3rd & 4th Place: each receives 10% of the total prize purse
What is a Shot Clock Tournament?
A Shot Clock Tournament challenges players to complete each shot within a set amount of time.
Any of the previously mentioned tournaments can be designated as a Shot Clock Tournament.
Shot Clock Tournaments can be identified by a shot clock icon on the tournament art and info.
What is a Set of the Week Tournament?
A Set of the Week Tournament forces all entrants to use a special set of clubs for the specific tournament.
In this case, the Set of the Week clubs are provided by WGT and the player does not need to purchase special equipment.
Any tournament can be designated as a Set of the Week tournament, and is identified by a special club icon on the tournament art and info.
How are ties handled in tournaments?
In the event of a tie, placement on the leaderboard of the tied entrants is determined by the following tiebreakers in order until leaderboard placement is determined:
- The lowest combined score for the final nine (9) holes.
- The lowest combined score for the final six (6) holes.
- The lowest combined score for the final three (3) holes.
- The lowest score for the 18th hole (9th for 9-hole games).
- The lowest scoring entrant for each individual game hole, in sequence from 17th (8th for 9-hole games) through to 1st.
- If any ties still remain, the earlier-submitted entry will be deemed the better scoring entry.
If multiple players tie for the same place, unless otherwise noted in the tournament rules and prizing, the credits awarded will be added up and divided by the number of tied players.
For example: if three players tie for 2nd place, the credits awarded for places 2, 3, and 4 will be totaled and divided by three so each of the players tied for 2nd place receive the same amount of credits.
5th place will then get the correct 5th place percentage.
First place will always be determined as a single winner using the tiebreakers above.
Why do I see a player in a tiered leaderboard that does not belong to that specific tier?
When players enter a tiered tournament they are locked to the leaderboard associated with the tier they are in when they first enter the tournament.
For example: if an Amateur player enters a tiered tournament they will be added to the Amateur tier leaderboard for that tournament.
If that player is promoted to Pro while the tournament is active they will continue to play on the Amateur leaderboard until the tournament is completed but can no longer enter any new Amateur tournaments.
Showdowns
What is a Showdown?
A Showdown is a 3-round head-to-head stroke play event where players can win prizes based on leaderboard placement.
A player will advance to the next round by finishing in the top 50% of their leaderboard.
In the final round, placement determines the player's prize.
All players that make it to the final round of the tournament will win prizes.
In a Showdown, players compete in multiple head-to-head games to post their scores to the Showdown leaderboard.
Any unfinished or unplayed holes at the end of the round timer will be scored as bogeys.
How do I advance to the next round of a Showdown?
A player advances to the next round of the Showdown by finishing in the top 50% of their leaderboard.
Players below the cut line will be eliminated from the round.
If I don't make the cut, can I play again?
The Qualifying Round consists of 3 single-day cycles where players who are eliminated can reenter the tournament and try again in other days of the Qualifying Round.
For example, if a player enters day 1 of the Qualifying Round and is eliminated, they can enter again in day 2.
After the 3rd day of the Qualifying Round eliminated players will no longer be able to re-enter.
Players who finish in the top 50% of their leaderboard will advance to the next round.
Once a player has qualified for the next round, they do not need to play in any remaining days of the Qualifying Round.
What happens if I don't complete my Showdown round?
If a player does not finish their round, all unplayed holes will be scored as bogeys.
What are the three levels of the Showdown and how are they different?
The three levels of the Showdown are Rookie, Veteran, and Expert.
Players who enter higher levels of the Showdown pay a higher fee to enter the tournament, play against more experienced users, and win bigger prizes.
What kind of prizes can I win in a Showdown?
Players have a chance to win credits, coins, apparel, golf balls, and other gear.
Check the prize tab in the Showdown to see the prizes you can win in that specific Showdown.
Sometimes players can even win special or exclusive items.
How are Showdown ties handled?
If two players are tied in a Showdown, leaderboard placement is determined by:
- Number of Showdown holes completed
- Score of final Showdown game
- Score of second-to-last Showdown game
- Score of third-to-last Showdown game
- Number of Double Eagles scored in Showdown
- Number of Eagles scored in Showdown
- Number of Birdies scored in Showdown
- First to complete Showdown round
Winner's Circle
What is Winner's Circle?
Winner's Circle is a limited time event that tests player accuracy.
Each Winner's Circle event will take place on a single hole and can be played one shot at a time.
The goal of the event is to win prizes by landing your ball in the cup or the surrounding colored rings.
Each ring has its own prize chest, and the top prize is won by hitting the ball into the cup.
Prizes for each ring can be viewed by selecting any of the colored chests from the Winner's Circle menu.
How long does a Winner's Circle event last?
Winner's Circle events can vary in length.
The timer on the main menu screen will show you how long you have left to play in each event.
Can I win more than one prize?
Yes!
You can win all of the available prizes once per event.
What happens when I land the ball in a specific ring?
When you land your ball in any of the rings, you'll win the prize chest of the same color.
If you land in the outermost ring, it will be removed, making the target area smaller.
If you land in one of the inner rings, the adjacent outer ring will expand to take its place, keeping the target area the same size.
For example, if you land in the Emerald ring, that ring will be removed from your target.
If the Sapphire ring (the adjacent outer ring to Emerald) is still available, it will expand to include the original Emerald ring area to take its place and keep the overall target the same size.
There will never be a blank gap between rings.
Do course conditions change from one shot to the next?
The hole, pin placement, green speed, and wind rating will not change from one shot to the next.
The only thing that can change is the wind direction and slight wind speed changes (within the posted wind speed rating, ex: LOW or HIGH).
You can view the wind and green speed details in the lower left of the Winner's Circle menu.
What happens if the timer expires on my Winner's Circle shot?
If the timer expires before you take your shot, you will be returned to the main menu and that shot will be lost.
What happens if I still have Winner's Circle shots when the event ends?
Any remaining shots will remain in your inventory and can be used in the next event.
This excludes any "free" shots which do not carry over to future events, so be sure to use those each time!
Do I use my own equipment for Winner's Circle?
All players will use the same Winner's Circle-branded club set.
These clubs are exclusive to Winner's Circle events and cannot be purchased in the Pro Shop.
