    Hello, I have a new idea - CC member roles.

    We all know that the owner is in charge of everything: running the forums, inviting new members, changing things, and etc.

    I was thinking of there being a few different roles that members could have.

    Owner - can do anything

    Co Owner (Vice President) - can do everything the owner can do except transfering ownership and deleting club

    Moderator - can edit forum posts, delete them

    Recruiter - can invite members to club

    Tournament coordinator - can edit tournament titles, delete accidental tournaments (if this is ever implemented)

    I think this would be good for CC owner to relieve some stress. I know most owners can't be on all the time or when needed, so some member roles can help out.

    great idea, i know as an owner, some days it seems like im doing *owner things* more than actually playing.

    i do really like the concept of being able to change or delete in-club tournaments, even if its just an owners tool. a few times they have gotten posted twice. we once had a member from the UK name a tournament, innocently i might add, at Congressional, Presidential Shooting. When some members were up in arms over it, there was nothing we as a club could do, so it sat there for 72 hours. He felt terrible over it. 

    Icon on the job at 3:30AM? very impressive. breakfast burrito on your desk i hope :-)

    I didn't think I would receive this much support. Thanks guys! What does the rest of the WGT community think. I especially want to hear from the CC owners.

    Yes this suggestion has some merit.

    I found I was spending more time setting tournaments up trying to thnk of new and exciting challeneges., keeping track of rankings for CLub Awards etc.

    So now we have a Tournament Person who now runs the tournaments etc. coordinates matchplays against other clubs etc. But it is a busy job as well.

    My biggest bugbear though is with the maintenance of tournaments, being unable to adjust once it is in place or delete it if a mistake was made.

    I would rather though they spent time on cleaning up some errors AND doing an honest to goodness handicap system. I know by not having the ability to go back out we eliminate sand bagging but really that's going to happen no matter what.

    I am the verge of Master BUT I certainly don;t play like one. A few good rounds and damn I am there. But I play more bad than I do good !

    A few of us members tried to do what you outline in a former club and were told bluntly NO, like I said a "former" club.
