chris5214: "patience" being the operative word here, which seems to be running abit short of supply amongst many players here ..
At a certain point, patience becomes naivety bordering on vapid stupidity. Patience was fine for the first year we complained about the sandbagging and multi-accounting. Now, after having our concern thoroughly ignored by WGT for over a year, to the point where obvious cheaters are winning major tournaments and WGT is still clueless, at this point patience becomes gross ignorance if ANYONE believes WGT will do ANYTHING that isn't to boost their bottom line.
To wit: It is obvious to anyone with even a sliver of functioning brain that having all clubs available to all tiers encourages sand-bagging. It is also obvious that there is NO REASON a hack needs a driver that hits 270, or a Pro needs a driver that hits 300. So, to anyone with any intelligence whatsoever, limiting clubs by tier is a no-brainer, something an autistic two year old could figure out (with apologies to autistic two year olds). Yet, WGT has not figured it out. WHY? One of two reasons: Either WGT is less intelligent, with less common sense than an autistic two year old, OR WGT isn't willing to sacrifice a cent of profit to make the game more fair and equitable. You decide which is which.
