I know, it's mine own fault.

My estimated time to complete our last match in the country club was about 23minutes so I decide alike to start my links at St Andrews. Bitter end for this game, played as fast as I can, complete 18 holes with a 9 under score and ready to strike my 10th birdie. Then it was a foregone conclusion: tournament deadline passed.

I send my request to the support only to know if it could be possible adjust anyway my average and to understand if the nike's usage will be clear up or it will figure like acting a normal stroke.

This is my shot taken at the pop up moment: I can call it Tour Fail, ehehehe.

Not so much as you think mate, only plagued just because as you said, so close and I even don't know if ball usage will be clear up. It was the real last putt, approached not well so if I scored the birdie I wouldn't have to hit for par and done, game close in the very last second with a very good 10 under.

Was a battle against time, I lost that just for seconds but no problem.
Rather I think to have a good idea.

Have had that a few times,i think your time runs out before your last putt, but WGT keeps letting you hit the ball the stops you on last putt.

Indeed mate, and for this I suggested a simple idea.
    Hope support will read this.

I like this rule, it's plain, it's simple:

    FINISH IN TIME!

Tourney deadlines are transparent, you see the clock in RGs and CC tournaments, you (should) know when midnight is in WGT town for the weeklies and such - the rest is up to people responsible for their actions. Why mess around with this? This feature works, why risk any betterworsening?

I remember entering a tourney late - I used the ball speed boost and I knew I'd be told on the last shot whether I made it or not. I think, not - my bad.

And, what's the crying about the ball usage (don't forget the boost)? They were used, fun and excitement were received from the game, should it not be payed with a few Cents for ball life?

Ehehehe, Paul, I didn't cry at all.

I only asking if the ball usage will be clear up or it's figure like a normal strokes "aborted". I admit that I pissed of only for not be able to slow down my average but I surely don't give a thing, strokes another round at St Andrews a drop a 58.

I didn't want something back (maybe the average), I don't care.

Talking about the speed booster, I agree but it's with fee and not for all. I personally don't use that and that's way I suggested the idea up above in the other thread. It could be a good concession for WGT and I think it's not a usual problem: concede to complete the last hole it's still apart from the real game.

    See ya my mate.

That pop up window happens prior to a putt on the last green even if the deadline passed while you were on the first hole. The WGT program performs the time check when you arrive at the last green, not all the way around the course. You may have missed the deadline by only seconds but someone who missed the deadline by 8 holes receives the same message at the same time.

There is no way for the player to confirm exactly when the time ran out.

I would think it should be possible for WGT to program a way for the player to be disqualified from the tournament when that pop-up occurs but also allows them to complete the round. At least the ball use would not be wasted on an incomplete round..

Then the debate could rage as to whether it should be allowed to affect average even though the player isn't eligible for tournament awards..

How about a reminder at the turn letting the player know if the tournament has closed or how much time is let?  Then giving the player the option of stopping the round or proceeding on with it?  I like the current system but maybe a small tweak could be figured out to give that would give players a little more info in round.

How about countdown clock on the scorecard?  It shouldn't interfere with game play/flash issues since it's just viewed between holes.
