Choppography: Seems the opposite is happening these days. I know things come and go in waves, but this one is wearing on and on.
Weird, I've been sinking everything for the last 48 hours.
We must all be on different cycles :-)
I discount the OP and his opinions, however ....
... speaking of cycles, I have noticed that the speeds of the moving dots (that indicate local slope when putting grid is on) are varying over a short period - almost as if the green was draped over a slowly breathing creature, lol. Could this be a poorly hidden programmed putting variable?
Take a good long look at the putting grid where there's a moderate cross-slope. A complete 'breathing cycle' takes ~ 8 - 10 seconds to go from sharper slope to minimum slope and back to max again. I haven't (consciously, lol) experimented with the impact on actual roll of making the putt at the extreme max and min of break indicated by the moving dots.
My preferred putting method is to set up the line with the grid on, but execute it with the grid off - just to eliminate the distraction of the grid lines and moving dots so I can concentrate strictly on the meter and where I want to hit, relative to the ding line. But do I set the line to max expected break or minimum, relative to slowly oscillating speed of moving dots? Or somewhere in between?
