Thanks for the post, Kurt and Neil. Sad to see that 18th green snag a shot out of you, Kurt.

Did either of you happen to capture your detailed cards for the back 9 (which show exactly which greens were hit in regulation)... or can you share your memory of whether or not you both hit #13 and #15 in one or not.

I need that info in order to stitch together your front and back 9 stats.

I have the info from the front 9, courtesy of Neil's post here.

    Thanks, Corwyn

Are these what you need Corwyn?

Kurt did make GIR on 13...and it was pretty good too but I really couldn't be sure on the distance, we never made a point of marking....I, on the other hand, put it in the right hand bunker after trying to miss left on purpose with a 12 L>R wind and DINGING IT!!

I always click early when I try to ding......so I tried to click early......and guess what????

    yep....that's correct!

    cheers ta.

After miserably failing to accomplish my goal to get close to getting back to under par for all four rounds, I despairingly considered playing the last round with no practice. However, I now think I'll practice at least some and maybe get my round in during the middle of the week.

Oddly enough, this is my first ever Ace on any course, and I'm fairly certain its my first ever Eagle at Merion as well.  Too bad it was only in a practice round and it doesn't count LOL.

Congratz on HIO.  And man that is one intense looking emoticon, not to mention the size, lol.

So far I've had some up and down rounds with surprising highlights.

UEL birdie, wasn't expecting or even trying!  It was a greenish-yellow lie, from what I recall.  What was I doing in such a terrible place to begin with?  I don't know...http://www.wgt.com/replay.aspx?ID=241513d9-251d-4955-90eb-a24e01240b30

This was also unexpected.  Badly pulled a full-power LW from a lie that was very slightly uphill with no side-hill that I recognized.  This is my first UEL Eagle, and I think my 8th over all, (all unranked - 2 were stroke play HIOs)...http://www.wgt.com/replay.aspx?ID=73e3406f-c6c3-46f1-bd75-a23801341e48

[Edit @9:35PM PST: These are first time shots, i.e., there were no mulligans.]

Exactly what was needed! Thanks Neil. And sad to see the so-called 'easier back 9' bite you two as it did me.

Kurt: if you do have any photographic evidence for #13, the target to beat is 18ft for CTTH.

Leaderboard is now updated. Just waiting on Macduff to finish her round and we will be done with Olympic.

Please note that player pairings for Round 4 were posted early Sunday morning, along with details of special prizes specific to Merion.

I'll do another Leaderboard and Stats Standings round-up as soon as our final player has completed Round 3.

For some reason, bad formatting has appeared in the thread, with a bullet that isn't really there appearing in the first paragraph...

... and it seems it started with my post last night.

I checked the html on it, and there's nothing wrong at all.

Does anyone know why this happens, or how to get rid of it?

My apologies to everyone for being the caboose in this round.  LJ very kindly marked for me, the poor guy.  Just squeaked in under 80...so enormously proud.  That course is brutal. I plan to shoot a -16 on Merion.  Stats & pics to follow:
