I am STILL having trouble getting onto the game since I installed IE8.  I have a separate thread but got no resolution.  What happens is I click the PLAY NOW button.  The next screen pops up but then just sits there.  I never get the picture of the course with the defferent course options.  Any ideas?

Why do you insist on playing in IE? Out of the 4 commonly available browsers – Opera, Chrome, Firefox and IE – I'd say IE is clearly the worst option. Give Chrome a try – in my experience, it performs very well for graphics-intensive purposes. For example, I watch live hockey broadcasts in Chrome; the other 3 browsers simply aren't as efficient.

If IE is your primary browser, it would be another reason for you to use a different browser for WGT. That's because it's recommended for you to close all other browser windows while playing golf here, so you'd have to sacrifice your primary browser (IE) just for golf. I use my primary browser (Opera) without any interruptions, while playing golf in Chrome. The two browsers don't interfere with each other.

If IE is your only option, then when you Go To Play, that Main Menu comes up in a second window.  You can grab the top margin of the MM window, and pull it down enuff to see the back window.  Then,  you can click on the red X of the back window, and have only the one MM screen open.  This is the way I did it, until... I discovered Google Chrome.

http://www.google.com/chrome  < I know this link doesn't work, but you can still copy it, and paste it in your address field.  For some reason, the [Insert a link] option up there is greyed out.

Glitch on # 14 at Kiawah.  I was playing in the stroke play weekly tourney today.  I wasn't having a great round, having missed putts on 2 holes inside of 8 feet.  I came to #14 and this problem has bugged me before...I had a wind blowing to the right and behind about 8 MPH, I aimed middle of the green and hit a full shot dead perfect.  The ball took off right of the pin off the club and ended up on the right fringe about 30 feet away.  I then tried to line it up, it was on a ridge and difficult to see, when I did it counted that I had stroked the ball two times, ended up with a 5 on that hole.  The putting glitch I have seen a few times before, it reverses your player and the ball I guess is tipped or something, doesn't seem to move but counts 2 strokes.  The issue with me is this hole and the club moving the ball to the right when you are aimed well left of the pin, which is where you normally play this shot anyway.  Ended up even for the 9 and I wasn't playing good enough to shoot a really low score but the glitch needs to be fixed.

Three times now just today I've missed the mark BARELY to the left yet the ball has gone WAY left.  As if the line wasn't even close.  Anyone else experiencing something similar?  Just started this afternoon.

Ok, this has happened to me 10 times over the course of 2 days. I'm on the fairway the hole is not really uphill so its a very easy shot. I noticte the wind is 7mph blowing South East. I have 115 yards to the hole I pick a 130 yard club due to the wind. I aim the marker to the right side of the hole pull back for the swing and barley I mean barely slighty hit the right side of the line in the meter so its a near almost perfect shot. I see it going for the green then next thing I know it hits the rough only going 98 yards. Really how is that even possible, I know the wind is not that strong to do it even at 7 mph. Believe me becasue since the new update I always made that type of shot on the green with the same wind speed blowing in the same direction. Can you guys please fix this.

    Hello WGT,

I just got though playing a "match play" and I losted, but my average score when up. Before I played it was 66.20, after the match, which I lost, the average score was 66.32.

Match Play I thought does not effect the average score.

Maybe you can check it out,

    Thanks
