Downloaded and tried Comodo Dragon and Maxthon with no luck unfortunately.

    I'm becoming more convinced it's a Windows 8 issue...But can't be sure for certain.

I don't use Windows 8, but did a search to optimize it for gaming. Have a look at this VIDEO and see if this might help .

Tony you beauty...Firefox worked like a gem!

Now just need to figure out how to get rid of these bars on the side of the screen, but Courteney's idea of using full screen mode helps quite a bit.

    Thanks again guys!

Yeah gave it a bash and no luck hey mate.

It works nicely in the normal home page but not in the game window. But thanks for the idea, much appreciated.

I have massive delays on my new Sony Laptop. That one doubles as a touch pad. But even with a regular corded mouse the same delays occur. Most drives are delayed and mistimed enough to end up out of bounds.

This could probably be tested by uninstlling the drivers for the touch screen and maybe the touch pad.

I think the touch screen is a major suspect for the problems

I now tested my assumption. If I disable the drivers for touchscreen and touchpen and use an external USB mouse my Laptop becomes es responsive as my desktop computer.

Very interesting Andreas, happy to hear you've found a cure. I'll try to remember your findings for future reference.
