    Hello Everyone!

Round 1 of the qualification stage is over, and at this time Germany is leading the Nation's rankings, followed by South Africa and UK, tied at second place.
I will be adding a third page this week, with the Nation's rank Leaderboard and a few additional stats, so stay tuned!

There is still plenty of time, and everyone still have a chance to make it to the best 15, so don't forget to play!
Also note that even if you are not in the "qualified players" zone, you can still help your Nation's rank by performing well, because each round we take the top 10 results to account for the Nation rank.
So it really is important to play and mark a score for your Nation, no matter the level of your skill.

    Good Luck out there!

Our engineers updated the Leaderboard to show the situation at the end of the first round.

We will resume updating the spreadsheet later on today so... don't panic if you don't see your score in there yet!

What is that Carlo? The rules, in the first post, say that the teams qualified should be 8, with participant teams less than 16. We are 14, so...? Tks, ciao

Good point Tamsach, here is how we will do:

We decided to change slightly the number of teams that will qualify to the second stage, to allow for more participation.

The first 12 teams will be admitted in the Round Robin stage, and there will be 3 groups of 4 teams, distributed as follow, based on the qualification ranking:

    Group A:  1st, 6th, 7th, 12th
    Group B:  2nd, 5th, 8th, 11th
    Group C:  3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th

At the end of the Round Robin Stage, the first 2 teams in every group, plus the two "best third places" will be admitted to the final Stage, for a total of 8 teams.
Again, the seeding for the direct elimination bracket will be based on the rank obtained during the Round Robin Stage.

I hope this clarify things for you all.

    Hi Roby

12 teams go through to the second phase and will create 3 groups of 4 teams

    bye

What a shame Whistler has come up. I can't be the only one on here that hasn't played it.
