Congrats again to the top 156 and ties that made it, we are proud of you and wish you well.

    As for the rest of us that missed the cut, we must ask ourselves;

"So.........we did not make the cut, what are we gonna do now ?"

I'm goin to the flea market and set up a booth and make some money:

Where did I see it?  Every time I played the qualifier, the Tee Off screen clearly showed the span of qualifying as 6/??-7/18.  Every time I played it I saw this 7/18.  I have it marked on my calender as the last day of qualifying based on that, and in fact knew a couple of weeks ago qualifying might come down to my day off today and an all day effort to get to 57.

PS:  Icon, the only way to fix this is to reopen qualifying for 24 more hours.

There's nothing wrong with 7/18. It ends at 6:59 am, July 18th GMT (11:59 pm, July 17th  PST). You just need to know what time.

It's been always like that. Check the date of any free monthly tournament. It shows Jul 01 - Aug 01 on game client screen.

Qualifying ended at 11:59:59pm PST on July 17, no matter where in the world you live.  It ended at a specific time, not date.

For those of us who are east of the PST line....that would be July 18....just not at midnight.  In my case, I'm in the MST time zone, which is 1 hour ahead of PST.  Therefore, my qualifying ended at 1:00am July 18.

The same thing happens with the weekly multi-round tournaments.  It always shows me that it ends on the Friday date, which it technically does where I live, just at 1am in the morning.

Think of it like a ballgame.  If it starts at 7pm LA time....you don't tune in at 7pm New York time to watch it, right?  You tune in at 10pm NY time, since you're 3 hours ahead of LA.  Same thing applies to the ending times for tournaments on here.

Back to the important stuff though....when's the rain delay ending?

This is true, Jerm... and if said sporting event says it is to be played on 7/18, I'd be pissed to tune in that day to find that it already happened the day before.  Can you imagine if the Super Bowl was listed as 1/31 and people tuned in to find that the game was over, it had been played the night before and ended at 11:59:59 PM?

11:59 PM on the 17th is not the 18th.  When writing 6/13-7/18, the - stands for the word through, as in 6/13 through 7/18.

You know, I woke up as early as I did because my best bud from DC called me.  He works for a high octane DC law firm, just called to shoot the ****, but when he heard why I was pissed, offered to file a pro-bono injunction to get the tourney suspended until the last posted day of qualifying could be played.  I laughed at the suggestion, as I could tell he was half-joking.  Tempted to call him back, tell him to file away, and let a judge decide if 6/13-7/18 includes the 18th as a qualifying day.  To me it's obvious, if it lists qualifying as running -7/18, that 7/18 is included in that.

Just looking at the Championship rounds...

    Round1: July 18th- July 21st

    Round 2: July 21st- July 25th

So this means you must have your 1st round complete by 11:59PM on the 20th, right?  And your second round complete by 11:59PM on the 24th?  If you wake up on July 25th and you haven't played your 2nd round yet, you are DQed?

Must be... if not, then there is still a day of qualifying left.

Interesting, I wonder if WGT is reviewing this?

As of about 9am PST, there are no posted scores.

That is because there is no "TEE OFF" button to play the actual championship round1

11:59 PM on the 17th is not the 18th.

11:59 PM PST on July 17th is indeed July 18th....in any time zone east of that.  Accordingly, your qualifying ended at 2:59am EST on July 18th.

The ending time for qualifying (11:59pm PST, on July 17th) is clearly stated in the tournament rules.  Good luck with that judge....
