    DannyPhan:

Look who won this tournament , A Level 75 Legend who's been here less than 2 months!!!!

Must be a new record for advancement!!!!

We should all congratulate him on his STELLAR performance!

The person you are referring to is a member of the CC that i am in.I was also a bit sceptical at 1st because of his stats,i raised this with the CC owner and he told me he is actually the son of 1 of our members,so he may well of learnt the game by watching his dad play(even may of had ago on his dads account) and found that he liked the game so set up his own account.

If he was sandbagging i would not be too pleased to have him in our CC and nor would the CC owner. Now that he has reached Legend tier there was obviously no concievable way that he tried sandbaging. We have just held our CC Championship where 1st place was paying 3,000 credits yet he only tied 7th winning 500 credits!.To me he is a very good player who i hope will eventually become 1 of the elite players on this site challenging the likes of Bib and Suncity, good luck to him i say.

I guess that my definition of sangbagging is not the same as others.  In this case it appears that a player advanced through the ranks all the way to Legend in a short period of time.  That means he has to play against all the best players in the site, he more than likely is restricted at this time in club selection.....so what is the deal.  If he was a true sandbagger he would have stopped his tier advancement at the master or even pro level and have been thrashing everyone from the short tees.

In this case he advanced to the top tier in a short period of time.  True he might have won a few times as he moved through, but if he played with good players, maybe even used their accounts while he learned, he still did it the right way.

He didn't set up a new account, gift himself all good equipment and take advantage of the pro level to win, he moved forward and became a Legend so he plays against the best, what Russell said above is right now, we should congratulate this young player in doing it the right way instead of trashing him for not being a sandbagger.

I agree. How could a low level, high tier player be sandbagger?

Of course there is no way of knowing how many credits were earned on the way up...either through MP, skins, etc.

Personally if I started over I'd do a few free tourneys and tier RG's and many MPC and skins and build a healthy account...but we'll never know, will we?

He is pretty obviously a second or third account player. 2 months and almost as good of stats as  Bollox ( f/w hit, gir, putts).  Whatever floats your boat.

Will someone please post the formula for tiering up?  I don't wanna be called out as neither a cheater nor sandbagger.

Let us all settle down a tiny bit, Don't panic peoples...lol. . I rather see a low level Legend cleaning us all up than a L90 Hack........ Think about it :)

Good luck to the low level Legends Too!!

Thanks mate, I have endeavored to be where I am. I did not so well in the tournament of the CC, but I'm happy with our owner by magnificent tournament.

TaarHeelsRule: Thanks to you too, I have closely followed his game and his son (TheLighterDark) are good people.

To everyone else: I will simply say that I have already played in all TEES and against all types of players. I must confess that I am Mexican and I never invested real money in this game. My team is winning I started buying some "Match play games" certainly learned from my father in this game. I have only 18 years old.

Do not judge only by appearance, the better we are learning from the best players and legends.
