I believe they shot the original CTTH pins several months before they shot the front 9. When i joined in October 2009 we already had the St. Andrews CTTH but be didn't get the front 9 until February 2010.

Yes, I believe Andyson is right with having various pin locations, but i personally believe they do have them, but due to the fact we're only getting one course a year, WGT might be releasing the pins v. slowly just as if it was a brand new course instead. yes we would all love loads of different pins on all the courses, but i bet in a few months every one would be bored and screaming for new courses again!! So by spoon feeding us the pins It will give every one a buzz in the 6 months after the new course has been conquered.

We shoot multiple pin locations and have done so for every stroke-play course. That said, each pin location equates to several thousand photos to review, edit, color-correct and insert into the game. Thus, over the years, it's always a balancing act between new course production schedules & additional hole locations.

I agree with filmslayer, and is nice to see you comment (and I think important that the players see that you are reading the forums). I am sure that it is no easy task implementing new holes, but in the last two years we have only received two new full courses (excluding best of). and some pin changes.

I know that's on our minds but I really wouldn't expect MisterWGT to answer that question. Look at their jobs postings and it will give you an idea as to what's changed.

Maybe MisterWGT could clarify "multiple pin locations" more specifically is it "more than two pin locations?" Sounds like it to me anyway.

LOL yes I saw these a few days ago, but we are talking about the last couple of years, and as you have shown in another thread, the roll out prior was significant and has now slowed to a trickle.

I agree that certainly the later courses will have been photographed with several pin placements in mind, but would be nice (no important) to get a roadmap for the future.
