    WGTicon:

    hi guys:)

i like this idea but I am not sure how it will work out for 2 reasons:

    1. i am not sure how licensing will work... it's a pretty complex situation

    2. would anyone even buy them?> if they were to be true, then I assume (I have no idea) they wouldn't have as much control (spin, precision) as current clubs? that would likely make them a nice set to see but not to own/use?

    1. I can off the top of my head name some companies that make persimmon woods right now, it is kind of a niche market but they exist.  Being a niche market, the exposure on here might well be a gain for them without any advertising expense resulting in lower licensing on the WGT side.

The driver in my profile pic was made just down the road from where WGT was last year photoing Valhalla and is currently available. The same company also make some very nice blade irons and is a Society of Hickory Golfers approved replica manufacturer for hickory shafted tourneys.

    2. There are several threads that mention that some of the equipment currently available in the virtual pro shop is too good.  My original suggestion was to offer it as a version of the WGT Pro Set as a Master version, The yardages in the addendum work great for Master tees and provide a challenge from Legend tees but would be playable.

Would they be THE hot item to have? Probably not, to be honest, but there would be a market, and probably larger than it would seem if you look at them from a pure performance standpoint versus the top gear.

---sorry had to edit this----as DarkenRahl stated using WGT clubs you would have no licensing trouble

And if a FULL----set as DarkenRahl posted such---at a decent nonimal price--- i would look at it.

as for the putter---make a the attributes the same as DarkenRahl stated---but maybe giving the buyer an option to pick between putters with different scales?
