I agree with the idea for a confirmation pop up or moving the damn quit button to a different location. I myself was trying to set up a tournament for our country club, and with my eyes failing me hit the wrong button....and I was gone. Now I had to beg and plead to get back into the country club i called home.

It took some doing to get back in...I had to golf as a woman avatar with the higher ranks in the club....and tend to their alcoholic needs around St Andrews Links. It was a brutal round to put up with all the ass grabbing and cat calls...and I don't even want to think about what happened in the sand trap on 17...but I was allowed to join again after having my reputation tarnished.

Please I-Con, Save us from  this kind of embarrassment and humilliation...give us a pop up confirmation .

    Thanks

    Tom

I agree that button is in a very silly place, I've come close to clicking it by accident a few times.

On the other hand, it could be worse:

    MFERGI:

As a long time club owner:.

I have seen the problems with where this button is located ,as have many members through the years .

I try to encourage my members to post their own games to help them be part of a club but even my best members hit this button over and over again. but are smart enough to contact me for a rejoin .

A club owner does not know why a member leaves and a member does not know if they were removed by the club owner unless they contact  him/her !

We  think this button belongs out of the country club page and on the players profile instead !

Most new players do not no how to get to the( quit club button ) in a country club and are stuck in a club that they dont want to belong too. They mistake country club invites as friend invites and dont know how to get out .

Put it on their profiles so they have easy access to it and most club owners will agree that we dont want members in our clubs that dont want to be part of them .

    Uh, yep I agree.

Somehow did it for the 4th time a few minutes ago:)

there should be a pop up. something like.

are you sure you want to continue.  by clicking YES.  you agree to wgt giving you 24 hours off grief, trying to get back in your country club. if your club owner happens to be on vacation, you will have further aggrevation, as well as being stuffed .

needless to say ,ive hit the knob,   countless times
