The high-level ATVs are great wedges.  With the Burner PW the distances are 125-100-75-50, punches are 108-83-63-41.  Spin closes almost all remaining gaps.  I get 5 yards extra with topspin and cheap Callys.

Like Bubba sez, there is more than enough backspin for regular shots, and the extra is useful when in trouble.

The 50 yard wedge is a wonderful tool.   The 41 yard punch choked as much as 80% with BS gives a dart-throwing range down to about 30 yards.  With the Ping Tour Ws I always had to be careful not to hit a shot to 30-50 yards from the green.  No problem with the ATVs.

It also has a 16 yd flop and a 6 yd chip, and both distances are dead-on and very predictable to a flat surface with full spin.  Those 6-8 yard chips out of rough to a downhill pin used to kill me.  The ATVs get me up and down pretty much every time, usually with a gimmee.

I rented the ATV's this weekend and IMO they are not even as good as the Z-Satins that they replaced. I still have 2 Z-satins and will never replace those with the ATV's they're just not that good.

I have a hard time dialing in the spin with them. I was one of the lucky ones that got the Z-Satins before they were gone. Will never get rid of them. I would get rid of my boyfriend before i got rid of the Z-Satin 64 degree :-)
