  I've had several Nike's and Callys that were only good for one hit. Now that is a reason to complain, not 3 rounds on a ball. LOL

  What's being shown is not cost per round but round per money unit, like miles per gallon vs. liters per kilometer (invert the sequence here).

  The lower Nikes are 4.3 rounds / $ = 0.22* $ / round,
  the higher ones are 3.8 rounds / $ = 0.28* $ / round which means higher costs.

  *) estimates by mental arithmetic (nice word for our Kopfrechnen, "in-head calculation")

  You are correct, the cost per round is incorrect, I was referring to the number of hits.  Yes, Nikes cost more per round to play.   Simply just use the following example.

  Nikes, 120 shots per ball, 450 credits per sleeve. 3 balls per sleeve = 360 shots

  Calloway Legends, 100 shots per ball at 300 credits per sleeve.        = 300 shots

  450/300=1.5

  360/300=1.2

  Therefore the cost per round is 25% higher for the Nike balls

  That is correct, alosso. I made the table with help from others. It's still in my blog.

  The second to the last column is "how many 9-hole rounds you can play for every dollar (100 cr.) spent."  It is calculated based on 21 hits per 9-hole round (par 36 with 67% green-in-regulation). So less rounds means more expensive.

  I can confirm the spreadsheet for my SD's. My rough guess from my buys is 6 cr / round, including lost balls. 24 rounds/$ is about 5.2 crs.
