Are WGT trying to get evertone to use the unlimited supply of free balls. It seems everytime I buy new Balls they are constantly taken out of play after no more than 36 holes. As far as I know my clubs do not have sharp ended protrusions on them so the balls should last a bit longer.C'mon WGT , don't we pay enough for clubs?

That's about right.
It's a better method than charging green fees. At least this way you have the option whether to use them or not.
All purchased balls have a durability rating, currently there are 1 dot, 1 1/2 dot, 2 dot, and 2 1/2 dot. The wgt tour GI-SD vapor currently showing on your profile have 1 dot.
1 dot = 90 hits
1 1/2 dots = 100 hits
2 dots = 110 hits
2 1/2 dots = 120 hits
putts on green do not count as hits.
From taking a quick look at your stats and scores, I would guess that for 9 holes you average 21 or 22 hits, that would, for 36 holes, be 84 to 88, which yes would be very close to one ball usage.

Wgt math:)...1 dot = 90......2 dot=110..? 20 extra hits for a full dot of durability::))
A normal expectation would be 1 dot=90, 2 dots=180, and 2 1/2 dots=225...:)
Sorry Reaytj, those algorithms do not hold up here at WGT.
Here is some useful information I found by one WGT's members.
But, I do agree, more information should be provided when it comes to ball durability.
Just want to add a correction to the above chart. The Legend Callaway Tour i(z) is 100 hits.
I must be reading the chart wrong for cost per round.
It appears to me, less expensive balls with the same amount of hits (ie ll 48 and 71 Nikes) cost more to play?
What am I missing here?
nice work ty
