    Right again Jim!

I usually don't add for upslope a long as there is green to work with. Usually, the balls land shorter but roll substantially longer because they are not yet so steep in their flight curve from my lvl 83 G20s.

Using bs I have to add some, of course.

I agree with YJ - also, the higher the quality of club the less the roll piece seems to be an issue. When I changed from G10s to Burner 2.0s, I had to change all my notes on approaches.

It definitely depends on the club and distance too.  A green that is +15' but is only 90y away?  Wedge basically moves more on verticals, so I'd only add 1-2y, however if the green is 190y away, I'd add 5y.  Downhill lies will play shorter for lower irons because they don't fly as high so come in at a less steep plane.  For example, a 6 Iron at landing will be dropping at a more steep angle than a 3 iron, thus will require more flight distance AND will roll less at landing.

I take the elevation in to every club I use ,even my Cleveland wedges and usually wind up  2-3 yards from the hole, sometimes 1 yd.

There is one hole that has me pulling my hair out and that is # 1 at Oakmont can't figure that one to save my soul, oh sometimes get lucky but not too often
