After a certain number of ranked rounds played during each tier, you will "saturate." The best X number of rounds at each tier will provide your average score.

    • When you have played 5 ranked rounds as Hack and achieve an average of 100.00 or lower, you are promoted to Amateur.
    • When you have played 10 ranked rounds as Amateur and achieve an average of 80.00 or lower, you are promoted to Pro.
    • When you have played 20 ranked rounds as Pro and achieve an average of 72.00 or lower, you are promoted to Tour Pro.
    • When you have played 25 ranked rounds as Tour Pro and achieve an average of 67.00 or lower, you are promoted to Master.
    • When you have played 40 ranked rounds as Master and achieve an average of 63.00 or lower, you are promoted to Tour Master.
    • When you have played 50 ranked rounds as Tour Master and achieve an average of 61.00 or lower, you are promoted to Legend.
    • When you have played 500 ranked rounds as Legend and achieve an average of 60.00 or lower, you are promoted to Tour Legend.

However! Certain game types can lower your average, sometimes drastically enough to promote you "early." For example, winning a Match Play round against a higher tiered player can provide such a result, for better or for worse.

So given above to reach Legend 1 has to play minimum of 150  RANKED  rounds right?

But can 1 get to Legend after say 60 or 70 rounds by beating higher ranked players consistently??

I have noticed some player stats who have moved up to LEGEND with less than 70 ranked rounds but still play like Masters/TMs

    Please enlighten me.

Q1: Yes, given that no "beating higher tiers" is involved.

Q2: Yes. "Consistently" is not necessary. A 50 - 500 record still shows 50 wins which should have "some" relevance.

#3: I've seen this, too. Those have taken their promotional average and worked from there to further advancement. But IMHO, it's not wise to accelerate the tier movement while the levels remain low.

I think your calculations are off...I've been at Legend since my average was about 64 (63.42 now and over 2600 ranked rounds) I too wonder where the "marks" are.

Your earnings are 173 $. Assuming that this involves quite a lot of RGs and other tournaments, the numbers do get off. Neither average nor round numbers remain "regular" AFAIS.
