Secondly, and most important of all before implementing uneven lies is to ensure a smooth meter for everyone.

Yes, the uneven lies shouldn't effect the ball more than between 5 and 10 yards max (10 for severe) yet at present i had a slight up hill lie and my 225 yard iron went 170 yards, and i wont even start on how far a 25+ pitch shot goes from 25% rough with slight uphill lie.

If everything of the lies only effected the ball at maximum 8 or 10 yards long, short, left or right i'm sure we would all get to grips with it much faster and enjoy it a lot more, but at present as TbE said, it makes our R11's obsolete so we might as well be using EZswing clubs with a minus 10 precision rating.

I'm looking at it as a challenge to overcome. When WGT dials back the effect, I'll be ready having played it a lot with the way it's working right now. For practice round play, it's a lot of fun. I can understand not wanting to play it the way it is right now in ranked games or credit matches though. The risk would be super high.  The main thing I've gotten from it is the circle of acceptable results is huge. You just gotta hit the next shot and move on. All previous play with expected results is out the window. Olympic Club is the perfect example. Now I know why the pros played it like they did in the US Open.

The starter clubs & ball combined with the uneven lies is a real mind bender. ;-)

It would make it much better if we can see, the direction the club is pointing, because that is all that makes a difference, especially in the sidehill lie, we sort of have to guess where the ball will go

Also, it will be much more realistic if different shots, to the bunker or even fairway and rough, semi-rough to have different buried lie, and therefore, let's say the ball is buried in the bunker, we need a explode shot deep in the bunker.
