    $800.00 is 80,000 credits.

    2000 credits is $20.00

    $8.00 = 800 credits.

Plus, it is considered poor netiquette to hijack with an off-topic post a thread someone else started.

    HubieB:
I created a tournament for my club Tea Party CC and added 2000 credits to the purse. The payout to the winner shown on the results was only $8,00 and should have bee $800.00. What gives? Have I and my members been screwed?

You're mixing up the units. Credits aren't equal to $!     Stay in "credits":

The purse is very generous, 2000 cr, payout in this case is 40 % = 800 cr. This is what the winning member gets - let him check his account, credit display and email.

Now the company deliberately shakes up things by "exchanging" credits to $, which is undue by their own T&Cs: "Credits have no monetary vaule".

Until now they failed to explain in public how 800 cr would be exchanged into 8 $, how the tournament winnings in $ and the "earnings" up to 60,000 $ are justified. Due to the T&Cs, they cannot invert "a 20 $ buy brings 2,000 credits" IMHO. The only exchange rate known is much more favorable to the company, 165,000 cr for a 250 $ gift card = 660 / 1.

Or is it you, Apex, who might be able to explain how 2,000 "no monetary value" credits might become 20 $, ?and paid out?

Create a game first and then invite your friends from there.
