  I have seen someone post the same thing few days after the last update.  This confirms it then.  Practice Stroke Play affects ones average.

  I play lots of rounds in practice mode for the uneven lies. My average has never changed as a result. Also, we can play in practice mode for actual practice taking up to 10 strokes per hole. WGT can't be using practice rounds as a base for average.

  I agree.  In practice mode I'm usually taking the ten strokes, batting back and forth down the fairway or putting back and forth across the greens.  It hasn't affected my average and I don't have the number of rounds completed which would stabilize my average.
